A 4-day, 3-night retreat in Ojai, CA (Jan 22–25, 2026), nestled on 110 acres of pure beauty.

Archetypal depth work. Nature. Fire. Ceremony. Brotherhood.

For the man who’s ready to remember who he is.

Still have some questions? Book a call with Seve.

There comes a moment—quiet but undeniable—when you realize the way you’ve been moving through the world no longer fits.

The goals feel hollow. The noise is deafening. And beneath it all, a deeper question begins to stir: What am I really here for?

This is an invitation to answer that call. Not alone, but in the company of men who are also choosing to live with more clarity, integrity, and truth. Over the course of the retreat—and a powerful in-person retreat—we’ll reconnect with ancient archetypes, the intelligence of nature, and the part of you that already knows the way.

This is for the man who’s done the surface-level work and is ready to go deeper. The man who’s tired of pretending, performing, or doing it all alone. The man who wants to be held to his edge—and be met there with strength, compassion, and fire.

If you're reading this and feel the pull, trust that. It’s not just a retreat. It’s a return.

this retreat is for men who are:

  • At a crossroads or transition point, ready to reorient toward clarity and purpose.
  • Seeking deeper connection—to themselves, to other men, and to something larger.
  • Tired of surface-level conversations and looking for raw honesty, strength, and compassion.
  • Willing to be challenged, stretched, and supported in equal measure.
  • Drawn to ritual, archetypes, and the wisdom of nature as teachers.

If you’re reading this and feel the resonance, trust it. This is your signal.

The 4 Archetypes

These archetypes live within each man. When brought into balance, they create integration, strength, and wholeness.

the king

Order, presence, responsibility. The one who creates and blesses.

the warrior

Discipline, courage, clarity. The one who protects and acts with integrity.

the magician

Insight, intuition, creativity. The one who sees beyond the surface.

the lover

Connection, vitality, devotion. The one who feels deeply and gives fully.

One container. Three stages.

Preparation

One week before the retreat, we’ll gather on a group call to orient, set intentions, and prepare for the journey ahead.

Immersion

4 days and 3 nights in Ojai—on the land, in the circle, by fire and water. Movement, ritual, conversation, ceremony. Everything designed to draw you deeper into yourself.

Integration

One week after the retreat, we’ll come together again on a group call to ground what you experienced and translate it into daily life.

Beyond the Retreat

For those who feel called to continue this work, additional one-on-one coaching is available. Seve offers customized support to help you deepen into the archetypes and integrate the retreat into your relationships, career, and daily practices. If you’re curious, simply bring it up on your discovery call and together you can design an approach that fits.

Introduction to the Archetypes

understanding the four pillars of mature masculinity

This session introduces the framework from King, Warrior, Magician, Lover and sets the foundation for deeper work throughout the retreat. Men will leave with a clear understanding of each archetype, its shadows, and the importance of balance and integration.

From Boyhood to Manhood

releasing the immature self to embody the integrated man

The journey from boy psychology to man psychology is not automatic. Without guidance and initiation, many men remain trapped in immature patterns—either inflating themselves into false power or shrinking away from responsibility. This workshop offers a clear map of where you stand and a ritual to release what no longer serves.

What's included:

breathtaking accommodations

Private rooms nestled in the Ojai Valley, surrounded by mountains and open sky. Each space is designed for comfort and rest, giving you the privacy to integrate your experience and the grounding you need between sessions.

daily movement

Morning practices that combine Wrken sessions with more active modalities—engaging body, breath, and energy to sharpen focus, build resilience, and open strength.

nourishing meals

Wholesome, organic meals crafted with care and local ingredients. Each dish supports your vitality so you can focus fully on the work and the experience.

ceremonies of breath, sound, fire & water

Evening breathwork, an immersive sound journey, and elemental fire and water rituals — each designed to release blocks, restore energy, and open you to renewal.

nature immersions

Guided hikes, river time, and open-sky connection. The land itself becomes teacher, drawing you back to presence, clarity, and truth.

workshops & integration

Two powerful archetypal workshops — Introduction to the Archetypes and From Boyhood to Manhood — plus a group call before to prepare and one after to integrate. Together, these give you a framework and a map to carry this work forward.

This circle is limited to 12 men. Spaces are filling quickly.

a sacred valley for inner work

Just 90 minutes from Los Angeles, Ojai is a valley held by ancient mountains, bathed in golden light, and known for its healing energy. It’s a place where time slows down, where the noise of the outside world fades, and something deeper can be heard.

Our retreat space is nestled on 100+ acres in nature—with access to hot springs, hiking trails, open sky, and quiet. You’ll soak in the hot springs, sweat by the fire, endure the cold waters, eat nourishing meals, and have clear views of the stars. Every element is designed to bring you back to the rhythm of what’s real.

Ojai holds a long history of transformation. Artists, seekers, and mystics have been drawn here for decades—not for escape, but for remembrance.

When we gather in this land, we’re not just retreating. We’re returning.

your facilitators:

Seve

Seve Mangrum is a guide devoted to truth, presence, and wholeness.

He’s walked the path of loss and rebirth—through the heartbreak of relationship endings, the death of his father, and the undoing of old identities. What’s emerged is not a teacher looking to be followed, but a man committed to walking with others.

For over a decade, Seve has guided men through practices of strength, embodiment, and ceremony. His facilitation is grounded in discipline and truth, creating containers where men can meet themselves honestly and fully.

He has supported diverse retreat settings, from Talon’s Reach in Montana, a program serving military veterans, to the Nierika Medicine Immersions in Mexico, blending traditional ceremony with modern therapeutic approaches. Across all of these experiences, Seve’s gift lies in holding men at their edge—with clarity, compassion, and fire.

river

River Galindo is a practitioner of the healing arts and spiritual wellness, weaving creativity, tradition, and embodiment into every offering.

Rooted in a deep connection with nature, he honors Indigenous practices such as Danza Azteca while serving as a steward of the land through community cleanups and environmental care. For over a decade, he has taught Kundalini and Trauma-Informed Yoga, guiding students into resilience and clarity.

River is also known for his transformative sound journeys—immersive experiences that blend voice, bowls, gongs, flutes, and percussion into soundscapes designed to open the heart and quiet the mind. His facilitation has extended to diverse communities, from young adults in recovery to men training as firefighters with the Anti-Recidivism Coalition. Wherever he serves, River brings presence, artistry, and a deep commitment to awakening inner strength.

“My way of being has changed a lot. “What is it to be a man? I’ve been navigating this question for many years. This Men’s Circle is a space where I felt the full spectrum of being a man, encompassing the vulnerability and the power of honest sharing, being seen and heard by other men, the challenge of movement and friendly competition with other men, all wrapped up in the connection of being, experiencing and know “I am” through Seve’s guidance. The world will become a more beautiful and balanced place as more men are drawn to step into these Wrken Men’s Circles. Powerful stuff!”

Will R

“I really value the sacred container you provide for healthy, expansive expression of masculinity. It’s a container to be heard, listen, and play as men. I think it’s important to have a group of supportive men with no motive other than support and growth.”

Eric S

“I really like the small intimate group. The Wrken practice was so special in being guided to make it my own, without the feeling of ‘getting it right or not’. I love that there is nothing to memorize. There was a lovely balance of variety provided and your leadership was so open, genuine and down to earth.”
