We live in a world of so much polarization. The cost is that we end up in extremism and internal and external division.  We feel separated from others, and the world. We are narrow or close-minded.

The health and wellness industry has sold us balance and harmony and yet tends towards extremes.

The hard charging and driven approach gets rigid and linear through an overly-masculine doing approach to health and wellness, and it misses the important piece that is being. As a result, we end up stressed, burnt out, and lacking clarity because we’re stuck in a linearly focused, one-dimensional expression of a holistic life.

When we harmonize by integrating the doing with the being, we feel more compassionate and empathetic, understanding within us where we can see from a different perspective. We lessen our judgement and criticism of others and of ourselves, and things become easier and less stressful in our day-to-day.

When you are in coherence and congruence with movement, breath, and self-connection, you create an open and receptive channel within. This channel allows for epiphanies and realizations from outside yourself.

The epitome of Wrken is about helping you transform internally so that you can show up more whole externally.

Wrken is not just about fitness and movement, embodiment and connection, or meditation and breathwork – we implement them into a single, easily digestible framework that creates an integrated, expanded perspective and sense of freedom and liberation.

The Wrken practice explores all physical space and movement patterns of the body—the linear, lateral, and rotational planes of motion—allowing the body to be very adaptable to one’s environment and life’s demands.

Influenced by ancient practices such as Tai Chi and Qi Gong, met with a modern twist of different styles of dance, the science of biomechanics and kinesiology for the durability of joint, muscle and tissue health, including the integration of modern ambient music, to combat the stressor of modern life.

Flowing and continuously moving without constriction, tightening or holding, this practice has unending levels and complexities you can choose to explore.

This is a practice that is so easily digestible and picked up that a child could do it. It doesn’t involve a deep understanding or an intermediate level of movement or meditation. Quick to learn and quick to adapt to. And easy to apply to your everyday life.

Wrken is a music-driven experience. It’s a meditative practice with a celebratory element of movement, offering deeper connection to our innate nature. When we’re in rhythm with flow, life is easier and more harmonious. It creates a synergy and symbiotic nature that is natural to our species.

This practice wasn’t drawn and changed from a culture or indigenous or tribal people to be capitalized on. It was developed in the United States.

My story

About Seve

In my professional life, I have worked with great athletes, performers, celebrities, and everybody in between to help them create more peace, harmony, and vitality not only in their bodies but in their hearts and minds as well.

After working with hundreds of clients and spending countless hours researching, studying, and educating myself in the fields of therapeutic intervention, communication, and movement practices—through Equinox Education, Holistic Lifestyle Coaching via CHEK Institute, Institute of Motion level 3 Coach, Animal Flow Certified Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 2 Certification, to name a few—I have come to the conclusion that the most vital humans are those that take a holistic approach to their well-being.

This clarity only came after being disillusioned by the highly masculine, breaking-down-the-body approach that the fitness and health industry has been promoting.

I knew then that it was time to create a new way, and Wrken was born.
